Adani becomes richest Indian, Ambani comes second

The recent Supreme Court verdict on Hindenburg has improved the ranking of Gautam Adani in the Bloomberg Billionaires Index based on the daily growth of wealth. The Index has placed him in the 12th rank, while Mukesh Ambani, heading the Reliance group, and who was so far just ahead of Adani, came in 13th position among the world billionaires by volume of wealth.
According to the wire service, following the apex court order in the Hindenburg case, Adani’s wealth jumped by $7.67 and reached a net worth of $97.6 billion, while Ambani’s net worth is estimated to be $97 billion.
