According to reports reaching from Ayodhya, Reliance Jio, the telecommunication arm of Billionaire businessman Mukesh Ambani has set up more towers and upgraded various operations in the city for 4G and 5G networks.
Reliance Industries, the flagship company of the group, has opened water kiosks and will distribute bottled drinking water.
Adani Wilmar, the retail chain of the Adani group, is planning to distribute over 25,000 jalebis under its brand Fortune. The jalebis will be in the form of a log of the company. The retail chain has a plan to introduce a pakoda platter, made with the brand’s products, at 10 snack shops across Ayodhya. There are also plans to offer ``mega–bhog’’ for over 5000 people.
Dabur India will donate a portion of the profit from all its products sold from January 19 to 31 to Shree Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, the trust set up by the government for the construction and management of the Ram Mandir.
The Ayurveda major is also setting up special experience zones where visitors and pilgrims can touch, feel, and experience its various products like Real Juices, Dabur Amala hair oil, and Dabur Vedic Tea, said a spokesman of the company.
Dabur has also tied up with dhabas and eateries on the Lucknow, Gorakhpur, and Varanasi highways leading to the temple city.
ITC’s agarbatti (incense stick) brand Mangaldeep will install a ``Khushboo path’’ (corridor) in the temple premises. The corridor will be adorned with five-foot-tall incense sticks.
It will install two agarbatti stands at Ram Ki Phedi, where devotees can light incense sticks and offer prayers.
Nova Dairy said it would supply 100 tonnes of butter and 1500 kg of ghee for the preparation of offerings.
Havells India has come out with lighting solutions. It will install linear in-ground lights, spot in-ground lights, and 24-carat gold-plated spotlights around the idol of lord Rama in the temple.
Coca-Cola India, the maker of Coca-Cola, Fanta, and Sprite, has set up 50 reverse vending machines in the city. They will supply the products in the range of Rs 10 to Rs 20.
Uber has started its electric auto-rickshaw service, UberGo, and car service Uber Intercity.
Similarly, Green Cell Mobility, an electric mobility solutions provider, will be deploying 150 intra-city electric buses in Ayodhya for the consecration ceremony.
