Gold stays at above Rs42,000 for 8 grams

Kochi: Gold prices remained unchanged for the third consecutive day. 22 carat gold is priced at Rs 42,120. Price of 8 grams increased by 120 rupees last Saturday. The price of gold rose to Rs 42,480 on the 26th. This is a record rate so far in Kerala.

Looking at the figures from the first day of this month to date, it is also noteworthy that the price of gold has not gone below Rs 40,000. Today, 24 carat gold is priced at Rs 45,952.

Silver prices have increased today. The market price increased by 50 paise to Rs 74.70 per gram, and increased by Rs 4 to Rs 597.60 per eight grams.
