Kerala offers loan up to Rs.30 lakh through Norka Vanithamitra

Trivandrum: Norka Vanithamitra is an enterprise loan scheme for women jointly implemented by Norka Roots and Women Development Corporation in the state. Under this scheme, women who have settled in the country after looking for work or living abroad for at least two years are given loans of up to Rs.30 lakh.

The feature of the Vanitamitra scheme is that women entrepreneurs will get a loan at an interest rate of 3 percent including a subsidy of 3 percent from Norka Roots for the first four years for the loan at an interest rate of 6 percent from the Women Development Corporation. People can apply through Women Development Corporation website www.kswdc.org.
