Kochi: Four Kerala-owned companies have played a pivotal role in India's first solar mission Aditya L1 which was successfully put on a halo orbit around the Lagrangian point (L1).on January 6.
Various components of the spacecraft were conceived and crafted by the four State PSUs - Keltron, Steel and Industrial Forgings Ltd (SIFL), Travancore Cochin Chemicals (TCC), and Kerala Automobiles Ltd (KAL)
The state is very much delighted by the contribution of the state enterprises to the space mission which has added another feather to the cap of the Indian space agency ISRO, state industries minister P Rajeev noted on his Facebook page.
