Kochi: The picturesque Vagmon in the hilly district of Idukki is all set to host the three````-day ``Paragliding Festival 2024’’ from January 15 to 17. Said to be the biggest aero sports adventure festival in the country, it is organised jointly by the Kerala Adventure Tourism Promotion Society and Idukki District Tourism Promotion Council with the technical support of the Paragliding Association of India.
According to organisers, over 100 globally reputed paragliders from 15 countries will participate in the fest.
As part of promoting adventure tourism in the State, the International Surfing Festival will be held in Thiruvananthapuram and Varkala from March 29 to 31, the seventh edition of M T B Kerala 2024 will be conducted at Mananthavady in Wayanad from April 26 to 28, and Malabar River Festival is slated to be held at Chalippuzha and Iravazhanjippuzha in Kozhikode from July 25 to 28
